Are you searching for Child Care?
Finding Child Care can be stressful for most parents. We are faced with locating a school either close to home or close to work. We have to find a school that is
reasonably within our budget. Finally, we have to find a school where we feel comfortable that our children are safe, treated kindly, and that they are actually
learning. We believe the best way to find quality child care is to
contact your local Child Care Resource & Referral Agency.
How Do I Choose?
Choosing the right child care center can be one of the most difficult decisions a parent can make. Once you have contacted your local Child Care Resource & Referral agency and received recommendations from that office or you have received information on a school from another referral source, you still need to make a decision. Many parents are concerned with cost and location. When we receive calls at our school for care, these are the first questions that get asked. These are very valid concerns but you will want to dig deeper to make sure the school is a good fit for you and your children. Take a look at this Child Care Checklist
developed by Iowa State University. It will give you plenty of things to look for when searching for child care. It will definitely help you to ask the right questions.
Good luck in your search!
